Our mission is to propel change in youth sports by expanding access to athletic opportunities and providing the gear young atheltes need to participate, grow, and thrive. The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to improve access to youth sports by reducing financial, geographic, and opportunity barriers so that children may participate in athletic activities.

Message from our Founders
Our story
Fit For Change was born from seeing a problem in our community. Many young athletes had the passion to play, but not always the resources to do so.Â

As athletes ourselves, we experienced firsthand the impact that sports can have. Beyond competition, sports create opportunities to build confidence, develop teamwork, and form meaningful connections. We believe every child should have the chance to experience these benefits.Â

We started Fit For Change with a simple goal: to remove barriers to youth sports by providing athletes with the equipment they need to participate. What began as a few local clothing drives has quickly grown into a broader mission, connecting communities, schools, and sports organizations to support athletes in need.

Today, as we continue to expand our programs and partnerships to reach young athletes around the world, our objective remains the same: create a future where every child has the opportunity to play.

The Program
Our Solution
We collect new and gently used athletic gear through donation drives, our partners, and community drop-off locations. Every donation is carefully inspected and prepared for its next athlete. We partner with organizations in all of our locations to ensure that the clothing and gear reach individuals who will benefit from it the most. Recently, we have introduced our Gear Request Program, in which schools and youth sports organizations submit requests on behalf of students and athletes facing financial barriers, so that we can deliver gear directly to those in need. By collaborating with schools, sports clubs, nonprofits, and community organizations, we are able to fulfill requests, expand our reach, and deliver gear where it can make the greatest impact.Â
